Summary: The book analyses the findings of the study to develop points that have great policy implications. It is argued that since our present elementary schooling is lacking in this objective, therefore attempts are needed to make necessary transformation in it in order to equip it with the capability to inculcate adequate work values among the students. Eventually, the good work habits and work values among the children would be helpful in combating another problem also, that is the ‘problem of obesity’ which is alarmingly increasing in our children.
