The book is a collection of author's writings on Administration and Planning with special reference to India. Section I of the book contains lectures delivered by the author at the UN Institute of Training in Economic and Social Planning in the Middle East on Administrative Aspects of Planning -Theory and Practice with a section on organization of planning in France, India, Soviet Union and Yugoslavia. Section II deals with the subjects which are of importance for Plan formulation and administration for implementation of the Plans. These relate to Administrative Reforms for demarcation of states and creation of new states and need for bifurcation of several very large states with creation of new administrative Structures.
